Project Description
The project focused on the development of a B2B SaaS platform specifically designed to automate the delivery process in veterinary drug warehouses. The aim was to streamline the process of managing veterinary drugs and delivering them from warehouses to various businesses.
Challenge
The main challenge was to design an interface that could effectively handle the complex processes of inventory management, order processing, and delivery scheduling in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.
What I did
- Conducting User Research: I started by understanding the needs and pain points of our target users – warehouse managers, delivery personnel, and B2B clients.
- Information Architecture: Based on the research, I structured the information architecture to facilitate easy navigation and efficient task completion.
- Designing User Flows: I created user flows to map out the user journey for different tasks, such as placing an order, tracking a delivery, and managing inventory.
- Wireframing: I developed wireframes to establish the layout and interactions of different screens.
- Creating Prototypes: I built both low and high-fidelity prototypes to test and iterate the design.
- User Testing: I conducted user testing sessions to collect feedback and made the necessary iterations for the design.
- UI Design: I finalised the user interface, ensuring it was visually appealing and aligned with the brand’s style guide.
By focusing on usability and user experience, I was able to design a system that simplifies the complex processes involved in veterinary medicine warehouse deliveries, making it easier for businesses to manage their operations.
